We’re feeling all patriotic at the moment due to this Essex hottie! In 2009, Forbes magazine ranked Gandy as the world’s third most successful male model.

Yet, David had humble beginnings. He was working for a car company when in 2001 his mates secretly entered him into modelling contest, which he ended up winning and was immediately picked by top model agency Select.

Since then he has led huge campaigns including Dolce and Gabbana’s fragrance ‘Light Blue’, which had over 11 million online hits and a 50ft poster of him in Times Square, which literally stopped traffic! Since this successful 2006 campaign, David has been in every Dolce and Gabbana campaign…mama mia! David has also appeared in Vogue and GQ.

In 2010 David began his acting career by appearing in a short film. Let’s hope he’ll be on the big screens soon so we can marvel at those gorgeous blue eyes.
