We love Adele, but we love Rihanna even more. She really made an effort with her performance at last night’s Brits and she looked smoking hot in a bronze maxi dress.

The Event: Brit Awards 2012 After Parties

The Venue: Two Temple Place, Tate Modern, Arts Club, Aura Nightclub

The VIPs: Plan B (above with Zoe), Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Caroline Flack, One Direction, Rihanna, Adele, Kanye West,  Nicole Scherzinger, Pixie Lott, JLS, The Wanted, Professor Green – all partying at different locations across town. INSANE!

The Gossip: (1) Good Girl Gone Bad Rihanna, decided not to let her birthday hangover get the better of her at the Brits party. The Barbados born singer hit the town the night before with new mate, Chloe Green. The sexy singer looked amazing after her performance at the Brits as she partied at the Universal music after-party held at the Tate Modern. Sponsored by Bacardi, the drinks were flowing!

(2) The Party Squad sampled some of the Ciroc ultra premium vodka at the Warner Music after party, and so did Plan B. You can maybe see that from the photo above? After we complimented Plan B on last year’s performance, when he staged a fake riot, he said: “it’d have been good to do something like that again but they wouldn’t let us this year. It’s too close after the Tottenham riots and so we can’t do anything controversial.” Instead Plan B, focused on presenting an award to Ed Sheran and really enjoying the after-party. We liked his style! He was surrounded by glamorous girls and enjoying attention from everyone – we lose track of who he tried to chat up.

(3) Talking of chatting people up, we saw boxer Amir Khan surrounded by girls and at one point he had his hand on a girls bottom. Lets just say it didn’t look like his fiancee Faryal Makhdoom. Naughty, naughty! He only got engaged in January.

Cheska Hull from Made in Chelsea was also in attendance at the Warner music party with her co-star and flatmate Olly Lock, hanging out in the Adidas room. Cheska had two bits of exciting goss for us. Firstly, Made In Chelsea has been signed up by American network NBC who are responsible for broadcasting Downton Abbey in the States. Made In Chelsea could therotetically now do as well as Downtonin America (Emmy’s, TV awards galore..) But most immediately, Cheska is adopting a dog from the Battersea Dog’s Home today. Let’s hope she doesn’t have a hangover so can deal with the barking!

X Factor winner Matt Cardle was gracious about everyone who had won awards. Let’s not forget that Matt won the X Factor a few years ago, while One Direction won a Brit and were just runners up. That would have made anyone feel better. But lovely Matt said: “they’ve got a lot of fans so they should have won it. Hopefully it’ll be me another year.” Matt’s determined to succeed in the music industry and said he was currently working on his second album. He said he’s hoping to collaborate with some interesting people to raise his profile a bit. Good strategy, Matt!

(5) Talking of talent, we spoke to comedian Jack Whitehall, who we think is fit (above). Jack told us his brother Barney had now followed in his footsteps as a comedian and said he could even be funnier than him, just slightly fatter. Apparently Barney will do his first ever Edinburgh comedy festival this year – watch out for him!

(6) Hip Hop superstar Kanye West was at the Universal party at the Tate Modern getting down an dirty with Rihanna. The American singer was a little worse for wear at the end of the night, and in typical Kanye style annoyed pretty much everyone…

(7) JLS were in full party mode last night and single man Aston was seen flirting with all the ladies at the Sony party at the Dover Street Arts club. His wingmen for the night were One Direction!

(8) The ex-girlfriend of a One Direction, Caroline Flack, kept her distance at the after-parties. She attended the Warner party (with us) while One Direction stayed at the Arts club Sony bash. Lots of people came up to Caroline and asked “where’s Harry” and she was not impressed. Bet she’s kind of regretting that relationship now!

(9) Strangely, the cast of TOWIE are so close that two of the female members like to go into the same toilet cubicle. This meant we all had to queue for the toilet longer as the girls took ages. We’re not impressed at all. We said that on Twitter last night and we stand by it this morning.

(10) And finally, the LiveLikeaVIP team have our own acceptance speech, Thanks to Smooth You for making Zoe’s hair look amazing and to Sophie Stafford for the gorgeous make-up that lasted all night.

The Gossip: (1) Brit nominee Ed Sheeran was convinced he wasn’t going to win anything. The ginger singer said he was up against such talented artists that he didn’t stand a chance. You were proved wrong, weren’t you Ed!! Double award winner (but still really down to earth). See our post about the parties to read about how we chatted to him at the Warner music after party

(2) Fresh from winning pretty much all the Grammys this year, Adele won some more at the Brits!! The talented singer looked amazing with her new blonde hair and said she couldn’t be happier to win on her own turf. However, there was a bit of drama as one of Adele’s two acceptance speech was cut short. The disappointed singer gave the middle finger gesture to cameras, indicating she was angry. We applaud this – it was the most exciting gesture of the show.

The Event: Topshop and British Fashion Council Dinner 2012

The Venue: The Embassay Club, London

The VIPs: Rochelle Wiseman, Nicola Roberts, Alexa Chung, Chloe Green

The Gossip: (1) Straight from meetings about their upcoming plans to take over the U.S, Rochelle Wiseman looked amazing at the Topshop dinner. The Saturdays star confessed she loved being in America, but missed fiance Marvin too much. Awww, we can’t wait until you guys get married!!

(2) Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts was also there to show her support for her favourite high street brand. Nicola said she was a bit gutted she hasn’t bumped into Kanye West again, as she told us she has a slight obsession with him. Us too Nicola, us too!!

(3) As new style ambassador for the BFC, Alexa Chung was attracting a lot of attention at the party. The model was being questioned about her relationship with One Direction’s Harry Styles. The presenter remained tight lipped, but something in that small smile said otherwise.

(4) Topshop heiress Chloe Green didn’t really seem herself last night. The MIC star previously partied with Rihanna the night before, and rumour has it, the girls partied a little too hard!

The Event: Alexander McQueen Catwalk Show, A/W 2012

The Venue: The Old Sorting Office, London

The VIPs: Salma Hayek, Kate Moss, Anna Wintour, Alexa Chung, Sarah Burton

In true McQueen fashion, the show was extravagant, theatrical and paid complete homage to the late Alexander. The Winter forest backdrop was perfectly erie, and in tune with the designs Sarah Burton had created. The first half of the show was dedicated to the military, with two-tone khaki and olive coats, high-polished boots, and some classic McQ tartan. The second half of the show was more formal, with over the top ball-gowns in pick and mix colours.

The Gossip: (1) BFF of the late Alexander McQueen Kate Moss, looked amazing last night. The supermodel who, at the Stella McCartney dinner earlier on in the week made the ultimate fashion faux pas, by wearing the same dress as Yasmin Le Bon.

(2) Salma Hayek looked stunning at the McQ show last night. The Latin beauty was there with her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, who effectively owns the label. The actress was so excited about the show afterwards, she told us that she honestly doesn’t know how Sarah Burton can top it next time!?!

We were left stunned today after attending the LFW Burberry Prorsum catwalk show. The extravagant A/W 2012 show saw a downpour of rain hit the specially erected space in Hyde Park. But don’t panic, the rain was just special effects!! Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey, put on a fantastic show full of rain, umbrellas and strong accessories. The 40′s inspired collection featured trenches, leather gloves, flat caps, and riding skirts. We love the new collection and cannot wait until Autumn to get our hands on a tweed trench!!

The Gossip: (1) The Queen of Vogue Anna Wintour was leading the fashion pack yesterday afternoon. The notoriously miserable fashion expert looked very happy with the collection, and even managed to crack a smile. Well, knock us down with a feather!!

(2) Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked very Autumnal in her maroon, velvet trousers and tweed jacket. The actress and model was overheard saying she wanted to get back to more modeling, as she isn’t returning to do the next Transformers film.

(3) Hot man of the moment and Burberry model Eddie Redmayne, seemed to be having a marathon flirty session with his Birdsong co-star, Clémence Poséy. The actor looked pretty cosy with the blonde beauty, with his eyes firmly on her, he didn’t even notice other people were trying to get his attention. Oh no, we thought Eddie was on the market!?!

(4) Black Eyed Peas‘ frontman Will.i.am, made the ultimate fashion faux pas at the fashion show yesterday, by turning up in the same trench as Olympic athlete, Denise Lewis. The American rapper looked a bit red in the face as he realised what happened.

The Event: Giles Deacon Catwalk Show, 2012

The Venue: Disused church, London

The VIPs: Giles Deacon, Kelly Brook, Pixie Geldof

The Gossip: (1) The Giles Deacon A/W 2012 collection was just as grand as the church it was being shown in. The ball-gowns were almost regal looking with a contemporary twist. The styles ranged from puffball gowns to floral maxi dresses. The accessories were kept to a minimum, make-up and hair was kept messy, yet fitting to the designs.

(2) Kelly Brook always looks fabulous, and tonight is no exception. The presenter wore a black figure hugging, 50′s style dress, teamed with red peep toed heels. The model is following in the footsteps of Helena Christensen and Eva Mendes, by being the new face of Reebok Easy Tone. No wonder why she always have fabulous legs!!!

(3) Alongside Kelly in the front row, sat Pixie Geldof who looked fab in her more understated black leggings and gold studded top. The Levis model has taken fashion week by storm, and confessed she has some more big campaigns coming up this year.

The Gossip: (1) Kimberley Walsh looked amazing yesterday as she promoted Elegant Touch nails new body care range. It’s a bit different from how we’re used to seeing her in Shrek: The Musical! The night before she attended the Whatsonstage.com awards looking dazzling in a red dress (below) so her willingness to meet fans and sign lots of bodycare sets was impressive

(2) Kimberley is doing all she can to promote the range – even posting photos of her hugging it on Twitter. Follow her @kimberleyjwalsh for entertaining updates about Shrek and banter with Nicola Roberts and Cheryl Cole
