What to eat? Start with edamame beans with sea salt while you work out what to order. The concept of Gilgamesh is sociable sharing-sized dishes so feast on the crispy duck rolls, crispy squid with dipping sauce and a selection of sushi. Then impress your dining companions with a sashimi platter that comes out on a bed of dry ice ‚Äì it’s literally smoking. For mains, head chef Ian Pengelley is famous for his Thai basil, duck and watermelon salad and hoba miso Chilean seabass. Simply scrumptious!
What to drink? Cocktails! We tried Ishtar – mulata rum with raspberry and rose syrup – and Berry Bubble – Eristoff vodka, berries and Chambord.
